Merry Christmas Everyone!

It's christmas morning, there is a beautiful layer of white powder on the ground and I couldn't feel more cheerful.  This is the time of the year to cherish you loved ones and appreciate what you have, no matter how much or how little it may be.  Learn to be grateful, because there is always someone who is worse off than you.  Don't dwell on the negative or be upset that you didn't get the gift you wanted.  The simple things in life are always the best.  Material possessions mean nothing if you have no one to enjoy them with.  So go out and live life in the moment. I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to go grab a trash can lid and do some hobo sledding.

Stay safe and have fun guys.

  1. No snow here in AZ so won't be sledding today. But that just means I get to really enjoy the sunshine. Hope you have a wonderful and Merry Christmas.

  2. I enjoyed your post. I agree that we should live in the moment. We have so little precious time on this planet. For those who have a family, they should give some consideration to the future of their offspring. For those without kids - like me - every day is play time! Like you, I believe we should live in the moment and live them all like they are our last.

  3. Merry Christmas! Hope the sledding was fun. :) And you are right, no use of having a lot of nice stuff and no one to share it with. To be rich in this world, personally feeling, to be surrounded by people you love.

  4. As someone who is completely isolated with a family he hates, your advice gives me confidence on striking it out on my own, and maybe meeting up with people I would actually be thankful to be around.

Although if I could speak with you over email, I'd like to ask if I forgot to pack anything. So far I have clothes (including a loose button shirt and a thermal crew shirt), light food, matches, minor medical items, a roll of toilet paper, a few zip-lock bags, a whole roll of little doggy-bags, blanket, soap shampoo and mouthwash, water bottle, a handful of batteries, a couple of flashlights, some black markers, a knife, I forget what else.
I also have within my reach should I take them*: A bottle of 45% proof alcohol, an unregistered .38 revolver with one bullet, and a shotgun that belongs to someone else that my family found after cleaning out their car; has a few shells and has not been claimed.
*I don't drink or desire to shoot anyone, but those items can have their purposes.
